May 13, 2019 -- Struggle has built character for Devin Martin, a math major at Wichita State University.

May 13, 2019 -- After dropping out of high school and working her way back to a GED, Karen Abshire-Gordon wasn't sure she was college material. This month, she graduates with a bachelor's in psychology from Wichita State University.

May 7, 2019 - Wichita State graduate student Caleb Gimar is gaining amazing hands-on learning experience working on a research project with NASA.

April 15, 2019 -- Brady Hatter sees the university campus as a giant garden. And every garden, he says, is a potential gallery in need of art. This Earth Day, Hatter will make his latest artistic contribution to the Wichita State canvas when his Earth Pod west of the Woodman Alumni Center is dedicated as part of the Earth Day Picnic at the Pod from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, April 22.

July 12, 2018 -- Wichita State student Mary Alexis Wirths is spending her summer interning with Harvester Arts, a nonprofit organization that brings artists from across the nation for two-week residencies in Wichita.

May 24, 2018 -- Student aerospace engineering teams work hard every year to develop a functioning aircraft that will fly and complete a mission in the annual Bronze Propeller Competition.

April 5, 2018--Spirit AeroSystems and Wichita State University announced a new collaboration agreement, bringing with it new opportunities for students and the area workforce.

Sept. 26, 2017 - Danielle McLean is a transfer and returning adult student from Tulsa whose internship with Spirit AeroSystems was extended into a co-op position.

April 19, 2017 - A new degree is being proposed at Wichita State University -- one that would focus on animation, audio production, game design and filmmaking.
